Mark Florman, Chairman
Mark was the founder of the merchant banking group Maizels Westerberg, was MD of Doughty Hanson, Chairman of LM Glasfiber and is CEO of Time Partners (where he advises Private Equity firms and Governments). He sits on a variety of boards and committees, including the BBC Trust.
Mark is a leading authority on some of the world’s most entrenched socio-economic challenges, speaking widely on demographic and geo-political trends, and reforms that must be made to drive improved governance and productivity, and always championing the power and social impact of good business. He is the author of the External Rate of Return.
Douwe Cosijn, CEO
Douwe became Chief Executive of LPeC (formerly LPEQ) in January 2016, with responsibility for working with LPeC’s members to set the company’s engagement strategy with the financial markets, government and regulators and the media. Prior to joining LPeC, Douwe was Director of Corporate Affairs and Head of Investor Relations at 3i, a leading international private equity investor, with responsibility for the Group’s corporate and financial communications. He began his career in Brussels, specialising in EU financial services regulation and political affairs.
Stuart Hastie is a senior member of and Director in the Private Equity team at BMO Global Management (EMEA) (formerly known as F&C Investments). He has a couple of decades of investment / lending experience and he has focused entirely on private equity since 2007. In his current role, Stuart has primary responsibility for investor relations and business development for BMO Global Management (EMEA) Private Equity. He previously performed relationship manager roles with LBG, ING and RBS in New York, Edinburgh and London (1995 – 2011).
Andrew Lebus is a senior member of Pantheon’s investment team. He is responsible for co-ordinating the activities of Pantheon International Participations PLC and is a member of the Asia Regional Investment Committee. Andrew, who spent eight years in Pantheon’s Hong Kong office, also participates in Asian investment, including determining investment strategy and overseeing the selection and monitoring of investments. Prior to joining Pantheon, Andrew worked for a number of years in corporate finance with special emphasis on the private equity market, latterly at Credit Lyonnais Securities, and prior to that at its affiliate, Castleforth.
David Till co-founded the Oakley Capital Group in 2002 with Peter Dubens, and plays a key role within the business and has overall responsibility for finance and operations. The Oakley Capital Group is a London-based asset management and financial advisory business, with over €1.0 billion of assets under management. He holds a BA (Hons) in Economics from Essex University and started his career in the British Army, then later qualified as a chartered accountant with Coopers & Lybrand in their London Financial Services industry group.
Kristof Vande Capelle
Kristof Vande Capelle is Chief Financial Officer of Gimv. Prior to joining Gimv in September 2007, he worked at Mobistar as Director Strategic Planning and Investor Relations. Other professional experience includes being a Credit Analyst at KBC and Academic Assistant at the University of Leuven. He holds a Master in Applied Economics (major in Corporate Finance) and a Master of Arts in Economics, both from the University of Leuven.
Susanne joined Deutsche Beteiligungs AG in 2012 as Chief Financial Officer and she is also a Member of the Board of Management. Prior to that, she was the director of a church-related international charitable organisation. She started her professional career as an auditor and has 23 years of experience in auditing and in corporate finance, 20 years of which were with a leading international auditing firm. Susanne holds a Master in Business Economics from the University of Münster/Westfalia.
