During this challenging period the board and executive team at LPeC has been actively assessing the implications for our sector and supporting our members as they put priority on safeguarding their businesses and portfolio companies. LPeC as an organisation has been fully operational without interruption, with remote working to continue our activities as far as possible, while protecting staff and stakeholders.
We’re engaging continually with our members and adviser members to hear from them and encourage information sharing, and we're working in partnership with the other trade associations in our sector, particularly those where we share members.
Naturally, we've been assessing future activities, in particular our events programme. In light of uncertainty about the nature and the duration of social distancing measures, we’ve currently rescheduled some events, including our annual conference, until at least the autumn and are looking at delivering others in new virtual formats.
